  1. Will let you define copper or fiber backbone/tie cables between (2) telecommunications rooms. The appropriate quantity
of patch panels, 110 blocks, fiber connectors, fiber adaptor plates and fiber box size will automatically be defined.
  2. Both telecommunications rooms can be used for termination of station cables.
  3. Total number of station cables cannot exceed 336 per telecommunications room. The appropriate number of patch panels or 110 blocks required to support the stations will be automatically defined.
  4. The option of (1) or (2) racks can be defined.
  5. (6) choices will be offered for rack orientation in the Telecommunication Room. A drawing
representing this will be provided as part of the proposal.
  6. Cable management appropriate for the number of patch panels will be automatically defined
  7. (2) types of UTP station cables can be included i.e.- 1 for voice, 1 for data.
  8. (2) colors of jacks can be used to identify voice ports. A primary color will used on 1 port voice
locations, a secondary color will be used only for locations with 2 voice ports.

    automatically defined.
  11. You can define the number of cable supports or have better proposals calculate an estimate for number of cable supports. Due to variations in floor plans and workstation configuration this is an ESTIMATE and should be reviewed on every proposal provided by BetterProposals.
  12. A written description of the Telecommunications Room will be created. If a floor rack or wall rack is
included in the project, a rack elevation drawing with be provided as part of the proposal.
  13. Grounding will be defined and materials required for grounding will be defined. #6CU ground wire will be the only option.
